Canticles of Fate
The island nation of Eskarof has only existed as a country of it’s own for less than two hundred years, half that time has been under human rule while the other half came after the rise of the tiefling noble class. Colonized by formerly oppressed humans from across the Calashar sea, conflict with the Draconic Isle came almost immediately and would have been an assuredly quick defeat at the claws of the dragon kings had not the infernal forces of Baator intervened on the Eskarofians behalf. Using the desperate situation and mankind’s malleable nature to their advantage, the powers of the Nine Hells twisted the burgeoning human nation into a sinister reflection of themselves. Nobility in Eskarof suddenly had a different hierarchy as the nobility signed there souls to various devils for less than equivalent vestiges of power, the most cunning of these pact recipients became new Lords of Eskarof and they set about securing their new kingdom with ruthless efficiency.
Anung Un Rama- The Bronze Lord, Hell’s Harrier, King of Eskarof, all describe the mortal son of Bel himself who has sat upon the Throne of Blood since his violent ascent through the noble ranks of Eskarof. His reign has ironically been one of peacekeeping for the close to twenty years since the public slaying of his predecessor and guard, a feat that has left him with few willing to challenge him. King Anung Un Rama stands at over seven feet tall and has a pair of sweeping horns that bears his flaming crown between them,. His right hand is a large and intricate bronze device of unknown origin and purpose, many believe it to be a focus for the infernal powers he receives from his father, others a key to a prison of extraplanar entities he has been intrusted to guard, then again, the truth may be far worse…
